THE STORY. The paths of high school classmates Nicole Oswalt and Shannon Stoker converged again a decade after graduation in beautiful Starkville, MS. An adventure unlike any other began in fall of 2010 with a small booth selling a small selection of the latest ladies' clothing and accessories at Savvy Spaces Marketplace in Columbus, Mississippi. Success at Savvy Spaces gave them a vision of a full storefront--and the search for a location began. Eventually settling downtown at the corner of Montgomery Street and University Drive, the store was a big hit from day one. The new store received praise not only from customers, but also from local and statewide press that cover women’s fashion. Within a year of opening their first store, it was obvious there was a greater demand in downtown Columbus than their small space in Savvy Spaces could support, and their second storefront location was secured right on Main Street. Since then, Deep South Pout has worked hard to maintain what gave them success--great prices, the latest styles, and unmatched customer service.
